Transitioning to neurodiversity, the presentation explores the concept and its significance in business settings. It highlights the value of diverse perspectives and thinking styles, stressing how embracing neurodiversity can lead to innovation and enhanced problem-solving within organizations. Practical tips for accommodating neurodiverse employees and creating an inclusive environment are also shared.

Overall, the presentation aims to empower business owners with knowledge and tools to cultivate workplaces where all individuals, regardless of their experiences, feel valued, supported, and capable of realizing their full potential.

Speaker bios:

Dr. Collazo is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, adjunct Professor, and owner of Grounded Healing, a group therapy practice in Pilsen. In her clinical practice, she has worked with clients on mental health dynamics related to the workplace and has navigated her own experiences with imposter syndrome while growing a successful business. She brings both personal and professional experience into this important conversation.

Dr. Bernard is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has worked in various settings, including academic medical centers, schools, community mental health centers, and private practice. She works primarily with neurodiverse individuals addressing the complexities of the workplace and navigating related mental health challenges.
